Towards Creating World-Class Athletes from Pahang to Represent the Country at International Levels.



To provide excellent services in managing and administering all High Performance sports-related interests in Pahang and providing sports facilities for sports development in line with the National Sports Policy through :

  • Development of coaching and technical aspects
  • Identify and scout talents through the Talent ID programme
  • Consistent and continuous training programme by applying sports science methodologies
  • Provision of appropriate sports infrastructure and training venues
  • Utilisation of sporting equipments of the latest technology
  • Exposure to athletes and officers the experience by participating and organising tournaments
  • Development of sports through research and studies of nutrition and sports science
  • Collaboration with all levels of the public sector, private sector, associations at district, state and national levels, District Sports Council and National Sports Council in developing sports



The Pahang Sports Council was established on 23 January 1984 in accordance with Section 7 (1), the National Sports Council of Malaysia Act 1971, National Sports Council of Malaysia (Amendment of the Second Schedule) Order 1988. The aims of the establishment of Pahang Sports Council are as follows:

  • To promote in general the significance of sports in the state and in particular to provide adequate facilities for the advancement of all branches of sports at the state and district levels in Pahang.
  • To coordinate the State Sports Association and other sports agencies in the state; and
  • To obtain and administer funds to achieve the Council's objectives
